I have been a luck dog owner of a choc lab for the last 13 years and think it would do him some good to have a "youngster" around. I also have always wanted a chihuaha. I would rather adopt one since there are so many in need. I live in Bay Area and would be willing to drive down to LA. If you are doing direct adoptions too - there is a group called Pilots N Paws - a group of private pilots that is growing by leaps and bounds who fly animals going to rescue or adoptive homes in their small personal planes. Perhaps you could coordinate your efforts with this group and deliver some of these little guys to new homes! Got to www.pilotsnpaws.org to learn more about their work. I live in a small towm in Colorado and frequently go to the Humane Society looking for a small dog, and there are never any small dogs for adoption, only large ones. I've just heard that a Ms. Heigl is rescuing chihuahuas for adoption and I would love to adopt one. I live in a 1350 sq. ft. house on 3 acres with a two year old cat (an adoptee) in southwest Colorado, and I think a small dog would like it here. Let me know if you have one I can adopt. He is really upset and the lady who took him in is being really bad to him. Throwing water on him if he barks, then he pees because he's afraid of her, then she puts him in the tub and that's how he's being treated. I can't get more pets, but I am going to get him tomorrow, so he can get out of that hell. I have 8 cats and 2 dogs. I have cancer and don't want to put more problems on my son. Can you call me and help me find this dog a place. I don't know how to use a computer. My home number is 424 206 1039. My son is contacting you for me.
